Button Brothers duo Marvin Holder and Palmer Mutandwa were at the height of Melbourne society when they noticed something was amiss. Menswear was undervalued in the Australian market and they decided to rectify the lack of creativity and knowledge.

Founded in 2013, Button Brothers began as a menswear and race day fashion blog, influencing the men’s fashion scene. They now offer made to measure suiting for the modern man with a stronger focus on distributing artisanal products to the Australian and South African markets.

Button brothers have worked with a prestigious Neapolitan tailor to create their enviable made to measure suiting. Past collaborations include a social media campaign with MJ Bale in Florence, Italy and Freeka Runway fashion show with L’entendre which celebrates diversity and culture.

Anyone who knows the duo well can appreciate the fact that they do not cut corners and whatever project they take on, they complete with excellence! They truly live up to their motto ‘What we do is personal, life is short.’

Button Brothers have re-defined Australian menswear through their classic suits and lace up dress shoes paired with a signature fedora and dark shades to tie off the sharp look.

“We have visited our tailor’s workshop in Naples and are currently working closely with Spacca Neapolis, a hand – made artisanal tie manufacturer”. Button Brothers didn’t just stop at suits and ties but also distribute small leather accessories as well as briefcases through a partnership with La Portegna a Spanish leather products brand.
